Join VPTA for its Fall Summit! 

 
· 2 full hours and 45 minutes of face-to face time with students and clinicians.
· 100 students anticipated.
· 120 clinicians expected.
· Lunch and Breaks will be in the exhibit hall.
· Poster presentations will be spread among the exhibit hall to ensure traffic to exhibits.
· Member meeting held at end of day, so not to compete with exhibit hall.

Saturday is packed full of fun activities for attendees including the following courses worth 6 CEUs. 
  • Power of Presence: The Key to Effective Leadership by Jamey Schrier, PT, DPT
  • Central Vestibular Dysfunction as Related to Concussion, CVA, and Brain Injury: Focal and Global Lesions by Jeffrey Hoder, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy
  • Clinical Biomechanics of the Lower Extremity: The Intersection of Muscle, Join, and Function by Curt Kindel, PT, PhD and Bill Stodart, PT, DPT. Both of whom are Board Certified Specialists in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy
The educational sessions will conclude at 3:30 pm and VPTA members are welcome to attend the Annual Membership Meeting. Non-members and members who are ready to unwind, may head over to Casa Del Barco (11800 West Broad St. Ste 2516)  as early as 4:00 for PT Pint Night.  PT Pint Night will wrap up around 8:00 pm. 

A light breakfast, break refreshments, and lunch is included with a paid registration! Saturday's lunch will be held in the exhibit hall with poster presentations. This will be a "don't miss" mix and mingle opportunity!

Panelist Opportunity
The VPTA Student Special Interest Group (SSIG) would like to host a panel of individuals representing a variety of settings within physical therapy to discuss some of the aspects of the hiring process. New graduates are often very interested in learning more about how to effectively discuss and negotiate salary and benefits, as well as resume and interview tips. The panel is scheduled to take place from 10:30 pm until 12:00 pm and panelists can expect two groups of roughly 20 students depending on interest and how many students register for Student Conclave. The goal is for the panelists to spend approximately 40 minutes providing students with helpful tips and insights related to the previously mentioned subjects and then allow students 10 minutes of questions before switching to the next group. Through this panel we hope to help better prepare students for the hiring process upon graduation. This is a great opportunity for your company to get in front of students before they graduate and find their first place of employment.
 
Number of Exhibitors/Sponsors need three (3) to five (5). We would like to cover a variety of settings including outpatient, skilled nursing, hospital, etc.
